Marvel has made a billion plus people happy by confirming that there will be a Black Panther sequel. Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios president, says a sequel is certainly the direction they'd like to go in.
Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one.
As a fan of the film, the actors, and the director, I'm happy to hear that Marvel plans to move forward with the Black Panther story. In fact, Marvel wants Ryan Coogler to come back and sprinkle his magic touch on 'Black Panther 2'.
I can't blame them for wanting Coogler on part two. In less than 30 days 'Black Panther' crossed the $1 billion threshold worldwide. The blockbuster film has met, exceeded, and blown away all box office expectations. I can't wait to see what else they come up with.
In the meantime, Avengers Infinity War will be out next month for those of us who are also fans of the other Avengers characters.
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
I'm there for it.
