Like a good book with a terrible ending, all the hoopla surrounding Karrueche Tran's efforts to obtain a permanent restraining order against her ex, Chris Brown, has bombed. TMZ reports that Tran was unsuccessful in obtaining the restraining order because she had filming duties in New Orleans on her court date and could not make the call (rather than appear in person).
With all the drama surrounding this case and the alleged abuse, you would think mountains would be moved to keep that court date. Tran is seeking the permanent restraining order because of claims that Chris abused her throughout their relationship and is now threatening to kill her. Her director should insist she keep that appointment to be sure that any abuser keeps his ass away from his or her set.
Trans once said that, "Everybody deserves a second chance," during her 2015 interview with Iyanla Vanzant. Why bother to say he deserved a second chance if you were lucky enough to get out of an abusive situation? Also, if he did indeed commit the abuse, why start beating a new chick's ass while still in court for the 2009 assault on Rhianna?
Something about this whole situation stinks like week-old fish. Both parties seem to need to stay far, far away from one another.
