In the wake of an upcoming documentary titled Tupac Assassination: Battle for Compton, Marion "Suge" Knight has come forward with a whopper of a confession. He claims that he has known all along who shot and killed Tupac Shakur (2Pac) on that fateful night in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996.
Knight, former CEO of Death Row Records and driver of the car on the evening of Shakur's death, names his ex-wife Sharitha Knight and former security chief, Reggie White, of Death Row. Not only did Knight know who the killers were, he also claims that he was the intended target.
This information is confirmed by Knight's attorney, Thaddeus Culpepper, via a signed affidavit dated July 18, 2015. Since Sharitha and Suge were married at the time, she likely would have inherited Knight's money, business, and property. If that weren't enough, Knight also alleges that Wright was also involved in the murder case of 2Pac's nemesis Biggie Smalls.
Tupac Shakur was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
