Leathal Weapon 5: Coming Soon (Maybe)

Screenwriter Shane Black, is thinking of bringing Danny Glover and Mel Gibson back together on the big screen for another go-round of Lethal Weapon.

Black and producer Joel Silver are in talks to bring back the hit flick and have plans to combine two existing scripts to make the fifth installment of Lethal Weapon.

The story would pick up with the impending retirement of Martin Riggs (Gibson), who enlists his retired partner Roger Murtaugh (Glover) to help him crack one last case.

Word on the street is Joel Silver is looking at Columbus Short for a part in the movie. That would be a huge jump in Short's acting career if this is true.

Keep your eyes and your ears open for more on this topic.

  1. They just don't know where to stop but I would go watch it just for Mr. Short.

  2. ~*Toni*~2:29 PM

Columbus is so fine I would go see it just for him too.

  3. I do not think this would be a successful move on the the parts of Glover and Gibson. Hopefully they will think twice before going through with it because four installments is enough and five would be one or possibly two too many.

Michael Jackson: Before & After Thriller

As you may know by now, Michael Jackson will be on the December 2007 issue of Ebony Magazine. They are showcasing him 25 years after "Thriller".

I commend him on still trying to be out there after years of controversy and court cases, but I wish the man had stayed out of the plastic surgeon's office.
