Repair Your Scratched CDs

Have you ever been jamming along to your favorite song only to hit a skip in the track?

This happened to me recently while driving and singing to Prince, (yes I keep his CDs in the car, you know I'm an addict so just stay on topic!) when the CD started to skip and I almost drove up off the road.

A skip in a Prince CD is serious business!! I came home and Googled "fix scratched CD" and came across this video.

While I'm not promoting this product, I do think it's very interesting that I may be able to repair my CD rather than go purchase another. I will not however, be purchasing this product as they are claiming the system is 'under $15 bucks' which is retail jargon for $14.99.

Wish me luck on repairing my CD.

  1. Darn! I would buy a new one. I tried fixing a scratched DVD last year or maybe it was the year before. Anyway, I purchased a fix-it kit from Target. It didn't work and I returned it for my money back!

I don't think that it will work. The whole scratch removal thing.

LOL to the about to drive off the road thing.

And Prince is the man. Jam away.
Once you get that new CD.

  7. LOL @ Sharon. You stay having issues with Blogger. It's OK though, as long as I understand what you mean.

OK, looks like I'll have to get up on another CD. Or actually, I might need to get up on some satellite radio. Hmm...

  8. i honestly can't remember the last time i actually listened to a cd. all of my cd's have been copied and put onto my mp3 player for quick and easy listening.

when i order cd's, i unwrap them, and put them straight on the mp3 player.

even still...this cd repair kit is a good investment.

Michael Jackson: Before & After Thriller

As you may know by now, Michael Jackson will be on the December 2007 issue of Ebony Magazine. They are showcasing him 25 years after "Thriller".

I commend him on still trying to be out there after years of controversy and court cases, but I wish the man had stayed out of the plastic surgeon's office.

Here's Micheal Jackson before "Thriller"

Here's Micheal Jackson during "Thriller"

Jennifer Love Hewitt Fat? Please...

Jennifer Love Hewitt fans have been dogging her out on the Net saying they can't believe she's let herself go and 'oh my God she's SO fat!'

The girl is a size freakin' 2! Are they on crack?

Oh I get it, they've finally seen some pics of a celebrity that weren't air brushed and they couldn't handle it.... let me explain: What you see on TV, in magazines and online is a bunch of lighting, air brushing and hair & make up trickery. There, carry on please.
