Radio 1's Big Weekend: UK

The BBC's Radio 1 had a "Big Weekend" at Mote Park was a big hit. The UK was treated to two days (May 10th and 11th) of entertainment and free fun.

That's right, the tickets were free so if you are in the UK and you didn't go due to prices, shame on you for not doing your homework. All you had to do was send in a registration form and your tickets were complimentary.

Madonna headlined the main stage, Usher was there singing his second single from his upcoming CD, "Moving Mountains" (see video below), and Nelly. Other acts included The Fratellis, Robyn, Duffy, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, The Hoosiers, The Kooks, Adele, Newton Faulkner, Goldfrapp, The Enemy, Pigeon Detectives and One Republic.
